OUR PROCESS

Printing

All of our art is produced by manufacturers in the USA.

Fine Art Paper Printing

Our fine art paper prints are made with the best archival photo paper and the industry's most favored inks, creating a fine art print rated to last over 100 years. The printers used produce high-grade black & white and color prints. Our prints have the highest degree of image sharpness, optimal color density, and gradation.

Matting & Framing

Our framed paper prints are dry mounted on an acid-free backing and bordered with a 3” wide mat. We currently offer two custom-built frame options—black and white. Frames for our Beautiful Places Collection measure 1 1/4” and those for our Flora and Stones Collections measure 3/4”. We use acrylic (plexiglass) for all of our framed paper prints. Not only does plexiglass offer more UV protection, but it is also lighter and less breakable compared to glass. The plexiglass we use filters 85-89% of UV and 92% of light.

Acrylic Printing

Our 1/8” acrylic prints are printed with archival methods in mind using the industry’s most favored inks. This process enables the print to last for 100 years or more.

Metal Printing

Our HD aluminum prints are created using high-quality archival inks. Heat and pressure are applied to the ink and aluminum to create a brilliant image fused with the aluminum for superior durability and scratch and chemical resistance. Prints are finished with 1/8” rounded edges.

Wood Printing

Our wood prints are printed on 1/2” birchwood. The wood is handpicked to ensure that the grain, dark spots, etc. will not interfere with the image but instead come through the image without overtaking its integrity.

Canvas Printing

Our canvas prints are printed on acid-free canvas with archival inks that will stay beautifully intact and bright for 100 years (indoors). Each canvas print is hand-stretched on lumber with a 1 1/2” gallery wrap.

Signed Prints & Certificates of Authenticity

All prints from our Beautiful Places Collection will be signed in the lower right-hand corner. Call it “traditional,” but we feel landscape art is not complete without the artist’s signature! Our other collections, however, do not have a signature on the art itself. ALL prints include a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
